GolfImprove was born from a simple need: to film yourself on the golf course without the hassle. What started as a solution for one golfer quickly grew into a product that more and more people could benefit from.
Who’s Behind It?
My name is Thijn Hogeland. I’m 18 years old, live in Apeldoorn, and train hard to make my dream come true: to go pro and play on the tour. I first picked up a golf club in 2022, and now I train more than 30 hours a week. It’s all about getting better, and smart training is a big part of that. Filming plays a major role in my improvement.
Why GolfImprove?
When I started filming, I noticed there weren’t any good, affordable tripods that you could easily take onto the course. The stands from abroad were expensive, unstable, or not designed for golfers. So, I decided to make one myself. After testing, improving, and more testing, the first GolfImprove stand was born.

The Golfimprove Timeline
How It All Started
At the end of 2023, I, Thijn Hogeland, started golfing. Soon, I aimed to go pro and began filming my training sessions to improve my technique. But I kept running into the same problem: no tripod worked well for golf.
- Training alone? No good angle.
- Training with others? Bad camera angles.
- Ordering a tripod from the US? Too expensive and without a ground option, making it always unstable on the fairway.
After much frustration, I decided to develop a tripod myself—specially designed for golfers. That’s how Golfimprove was born.
